The Lomond Hills Park is Fife’s largest area of upland countryside. Whilst not quite in the same league as other Scottish hills and mountains, nevertheless there are lots of walking opportunities in the area.
There are multiple access routes that can be used to enjoy the hills from the “honeypot routes” around Craigmead car park to the quieter less trodden ground between Bishop Hill and Harperleas.
In addition to the hills, the area also holds a number of reservoirs which make lovely low level walks.
The recently redeveloped Living Lomonds Partnership website has a selection of excellent leaflets and resources for walking in the area.
