Fife Walking routes do not attempt to provide a “sanitised” version of the outdoors. Most routes use unsurfaced / rough paths (sometimes no path) which can be wet or muddy underfoot or may have become overgrown.

When accessing these routes, it is your responsibility to ensure your actions are in accordance with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Not all routes may be appropriate for dogs or for large groups of walkers.

You walk the routes at your own risk and should always assess hazards for yourself. Some routes are in remote areas away from civilisation and appropriate equipment should be carried.

If using these routes for a group or organised walk, or as the basis for publishing a route elsewhere please credit Fife Walking as being your source of information.

Routes suggested by Fife Walking are generally not waymarked or signposted and may not always be on an actual path. The directions, sketch maps and GPX files provided are NOT a substitute for an appropriate (eg Ordnance Survey) map and navigation skills.

Information provided is correct to the best of the author’s knowledge at the time of writing. However, things do change over time and up to date accuracy cannot be guaranteed.

GPX files for routes can be downloaded from Plotaroute.com.
