Sounds good doesn’t it? It’s not the Bahamas but a UK wide coastal arts festival.
As part of the Beach of Dreams coastal festival, Fife Coast and Countryside Trust are organising a series of nine guided walks and two cycle rides, all for free. The journey along the coastal path will culminate on Saturday 24th May with a celebration in St Andrews.
Each event will be led/guided by knowledgeable members of their staff helping you help you to spot wildlife, pointing out historic features and local heritage.
- Friday 16th May North Queensferry to Aberdour guided walk
- Saturday 17th May Newburgh to Wormit guided walk
- Sunday 18th May Aberdour to Kinghorn guided walk
- Monday 19th May Kinghorn to Dysart guided walk
- Tuesday 20th May Dysart to Leven guided walk
- Wednesday 21st May Leven to Elie guided walk
- Thursday 22nd May Elie to Crail guided walk
- Friday 23rd May Crail to Cambo guided walk
- Saturday 24th May Cambo to St Andrews guided walk
- Saturday 24th May Wormit to St Andrrews guided cycle ride
Places need to be booked in advance with Fife Coast and Countryside Trust.
Artist Julie Brook will be creating the Tide Lines tidal sculpture from local stone as part of the festival. Check out the full list of events in Fife and further afield at the Beach of Dreams website.
